The True Ananse Story Out!

The Foundation of Ananse Reach Concept has released a video documentary on events that led to the conceptualization of the organization. The approximately nine-minute audio/visual material; narrated in the form of a folklore presents some interesting original scenes making the organization the first in the world to have original evidence of its foundation.

In an exclusive interview with Uncle Fred, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the organization and the father of the Founders, he confirmed the originality of the video materials explaining that 'Lawrence was fond of and always played with my cameras, in some cases I had to hide them'. Ananse Reach Concept is almost set to roll out its Universal First Aid training programme that is expected to train every child at least once a year in basic first aid and relevant life-saving skills required for their locality. The training programme forms part of Ananse Reach Concep's Disaster Preparedness and Response programmes that will ensure the reduction of avoidable deaths and suffering among children in the school, home and community. Situations like bleeding, shock, choking, reptile bites, fainting, drowning, bush fires and the likes happen daily and they can be very deadly or destructive to the body if not managed properly.Read on>>>>

The Chairman of Board of Trustees of Ananse Reach Concept, Mr. Fredrick Adu Anti (Uncle Fred) has expressed shock and dismay upon the news of the death of four children in the Wenchi District of the Brong-Ahafo Region, describing it as one of the most unnecessary and avoidable killing of innocent children. Usually, during rainy seasons, the children are compelled to stay at home till the rains are over. Other children who would not want to miss classes take the risk to cross the river to school; a situation that resulted in the unfortunate deaths of the children.Read on>>>>

Who will listen to Children for once?

Somewhere last year, our National President Anansewaa Emefa was on a state television programme trying to sensitize every Ghanaian child that, 'we should be proactive and not wait for a friend to fall sick and be paraded on television or a disaster to strike before we start looking for funds. We should start a GHC1.00 per child health emergency fund now' We in Accra did not witness it because GTV went off in Accra but we are told by Ananses in other Regions and we stand to be corrected that she was treated like a 'criminal' by the hostess; trying to portray Ananse Reach Concept as only interested in collecting children's money. We are currently working still on Anansewaa Emefa's vow never to enter the GBC premises again. Read on>>>>
